Description

This is a subset of task #682540.

We generally don't like to change rulesets after beta1 in a way that breaks savegames; it's best if the rules have settled down by beta1.

There's a bunch of civ2civ3 patches stuff queued up as candidates for 2.6.

Task is to go through them, decide whether each is to be committed, and commit them.

I think none of those patches break savegame compatibility, and they introduce minor changes that hardly affect the gameplay (except the one about triremes on rivers). For same reason, I think it is not big deal if some of them are delayed to 3.0.

Everything currently attached here is committed. I think this ticket has served its purpose.

(That doesn't mean no changes to 2.6 civ2civ3 ever again, necessarily.)
