Description

The fragile Super Highways trade rules (that prevent getting the trade bonus in the presence of a farmland bonus) have become buggy with the addition of Oil Wells. You can get an extra trade bonus from a city center desert tile with a mine / oil well (beyond the normal Super Highways bonus).

Well seen.
I admit I have removed those corner cases in my own ruleset, because it requires too much code just to avoid 1 extra trade in the center tile of the city. In my games, superhighways always give 1 extra trade on the central city tile, even when there is a farmland, and I personally like it.
I'd vote to remove those corner cases, and to replace them by some helptext to point out the exception to the rule in the center tile.
