Description

Modpack Installer appears to simply freeze up and crash whenever a download fails, instead of aborting and giving the player an error message.

Happens both when non-existant files are attempted to download or when unable to obtain a local SSL certificate (which is apparently the server host denying the download?).

Note: Windows 7, 2.6.b1 GTK3 and probably Qt.

I can't reproduce the a hang or crash behaviour on Unix, or under Wine (with 2.6.0-beta1 gtk3 msys1). For me, the GUI continues running, and on Unix at least gives a message in the status bar. I can't conveniently try the modpack installer on actual Windows with an Internet connection.

I can reproduce the behaviour mentioned in the forum thread of leaving a zero-length file in place of the failed download. (I think I knew about that already, but don't see an open bug.)
