It took me long time to understand correctly what 'keepstyle' means (and I though it to be buggy as a result). I though it would mean that the style passed should be kept in the future. Instead it actually means that style already in effect should not be touched by the call, i.e., that the [b]old[/b] style should be kept. Calling it keep_old_style would probably be much better.
